Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the AdventureHop website and application (the "Service") operated by AdventureHop.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Accounts, Eligibility, and Termination

The Service is intended to be used by adults (parents or guardians). By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 years old. You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password.

You may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for violations of these Terms or to protect the integrity and security of the Service.

3. AI-Generated Content

AdventureHop uses artificial intelligence (powered by Google's Gemini API) to generate interactive stories. While AdventureHop includes safeguards designed to create family-friendly experiences, parents and guardians are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before sharing it with children.

4. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding the specific unique stories generated for you), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of AdventureHop and its licensors.

You retain all rights to the text inputs and prompts you provide to the Service. Due to the nature of artificial intelligence, similar stories may be generated for other users.

5. Payments, Refunds, and Physical Products

Lifetime Access: We offer a "Lifetime Access" tier. "Lifetime" is defined as the lifetime of the AdventureHop service. Lifetime Access applies to the current core premium features of the Service. AdventureHop may introduce optional products or services in the future that require separate purchase. In the event that AdventureHop ceases operations, lifetime access will conclude at that time.

Payments: All payments are processed securely through our third-party payment processor, Stripe. By providing payment information, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the designated payment method.

Refunds: Unless otherwise required by law, digital purchases (including Lifetime Access) are non-refundable once access has been granted. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing your purchase, please contact us and we will work to resolve the issue.

Physical Products (Hero Coin): Purchases of physical merchandise, such as the Hero Coin, are subject to availability. Shipping addresses must be accurate. AdventureHop isn't responsible for delays caused by carriers. Lost packages should be reported within 14 days. Physical products are final sale unless damaged during transit.

6. Acceptable Use and User Content

You represent that you have the right to submit any content you provide and that it does not infringe the rights of others. You agree not to use the Service to generate, promote, or share any content that is illegal, abusive, harassing, harmful, or otherwise objectionable.

7. Availability and Warranty Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times or free from interruptions.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall AdventureHop, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
